ANNOUNCEMENT OF EMBASSY's CLOSURE DATES

In observance of Public Holidays of Singapore and Viet Nam, the Embassy will close on Monday (25 December 2023) and Monday (01 January 2024)

​On August 14th, 2023, the Government of Viet Nam issued Resolution No.127/NQ-CP on the application of electronic visas for citizens of countries and territories; international checkpoints allowing foreigners to enter and exit by electronic visas. Accordingly, the Government granted issuing electronic visas to citizens of all countries and territories.​

​In accordance with the Law on changes, additions to the Law on Entry, Exit of Vietnamese citizens and to the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of foreigners in Vietnam; Resolution no. 127/NQ-CP dated 14/08/2023 and Resolution no. 128/NQ-CP dated 15/08/2023,

 From 15/08/2023

1.    E-visas are applicable to citizens of all countries and territories. E-visas are valid for up to 90 days and either for single or multiple entries.​

2.    Citizens of the Federal Republic of Germany, the French Republic, the Italian Republic, the Kingdom of Spain, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Russian Federation, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Kingdom of Sweden, Kingdom of Norway, Republic of Finland and the Republic of Belarus still enjoy the visa waiver policy with a maximum duration of temporary residence of 45 days.​​

​- Under the Prime Minister's direction, from 00:00 am May 15th, 2022, Vietnam drops the COVID-19 test requirement for travelers prior to entry.

-  Health Declaration is Not required for All passengers from 00:00 on April 27, 2022.​

In observance of the Public Holidays of Singapore and Viet Nam, the Embassy will close in the following days in April and May 2022:

• Monday, 11/4: (Vietnam's Public Holiday)
• Friday, 15/4: Good Friday (Singapore's Public Holiday)
• Monday, 2/5: (Singapore's Public Holiday)
• Tuesday, 3/5: (Singapore's Public Holiday)
• Monday, 16/5: (Singapore's Public Holiday)​

Information for foreigners travelling to Vietnam from 16 March 2022

​In view of the COVID-19 situation, consular services at the Embassy of Viet Nam in Singapore will be strictly by appointment only to ensure the safety and well-being of our customers, staff, and community. In this connection, the Embassy would like to inform that:

• From 04 October 2021, no walk-in for consular services is allowed. Please book your appointment at least 3 days in advance of your intended visit.

• This announcement is effective until further notice from the Embassy.​

​The Vietnam National Brands Week 2021 in Singapore – Hybrid Expo on Halal and Processed Food Products will be held from 23-28 August 2021 in Singapore. The event is co-organised by the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Vietnam (Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency and Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore) and the Embassy of Vietnam in Singapore to strengthen the trade cooperation between the two countries in the food and agriculture field to mitigate the economic impact of COVID-19 and strengthen the resilience and sustainability of the supply chains, with the goal of preserving socio-economic stability, the continued flow of essential goods, and food security for our peoples.​
